I love that we can't hide from God, even when we want to. The depths of His love are too big for that. He hides us in himself. taking away our sin on the cross, to be seen no more. That He anoints us to bring good news to the poor, not forget about the poor; To bring comfort to the brokenhearted, to enter into someone's pain - to be in relationship; to proclaim release to the captives, we don't have to live in bondage! He gives a crown of beauty for ashes! The ancient ruins will be rebuilt, the cities destroyed long ago will be repaired, and they will be revived! Instead of shame and dishonor there will be double honor!(Isaiah 61)
