above the clouds

So my second to last weekend here in Lesotho has just come and gone. I've been able to go to all but one of the districts in Lesotho - covered most of this country.
We went to Sani Pass -9400 ft.
We had a beautiful sunrise up over the clouds.
We enjoyed a drink at the highest pub in Africa - and really good toasted sandwiches!! All the food was really good all weekend (Megan made pancakes and shared Vermont maple syrup!).
We even got up graded out of the backpackers lodge, with sincere apologies that they had given someone else our room, we didn't mind sleeping in suites,and not having to drive up for dinner in the cloud cover that rolled in at night.
